In the early 90’s, Nicolas and Hellen Alafogiannis, both licensed electricians, recognized that a deep gap existed between the homeowner’s need for safe electrical wiring and quality residential electrical installation services in the GTA. They opened Your Home Electricians™ in 1991. They envisioned a trustworthy and efficient electrical service provider, installing and maintaining residential systems – to get homes current and keep them safe!

Hellen
I founded Your Home Electricians™ along with my husband, Nick. I am a fully licenced electrician with over 10 years of experience in the field. My current role is Your Home Electrician’s General Manager, ensuring that the entire company has a well-run and solid foundation that follows all of our company’s rules and fundamentals such as ensuring that the customer always gets the absolute best service and peace of mind. I enjoy escaping to cottage country whenever I can get a chance, spending time enjoying Georgian Bay with my family.
Nick
I founded Your Home Electricians™ with my wife in 1991. I am a Master electrician with over 30 years of experience. Our company was founded on the idea of delivering customer service oriented electrical support to residents of the GTA and surrounding areas. Having lots of experience in the construction industry, I know that home improvements get messy, disorganised and stressful quickly so we strive for a company that makes it very easy and smooth for our customers. I pride myself on having accomplished just that, with a long list of customers who we have not only helped, but have trusted us to make us their go-to, home electricians. I always look forward to meeting new people and seeing how our company can assist them with their electrical needs.
Steven
I have over 40 years of electrical experience with work in residential, commercial and industrial electrical maintenance and installations. I pride myself on great customer service and a can -do attitude. I look forward to working with existing and new clients to get the job done right and on time.
Kyle
I have been working in the field for 12 years and pride myself on ensuring that customers are well taken care of and happy with my work. I love the outdoors and love to go camping whenever possible. I always look forward to meeting with new customers and assisting them with their electrical projects!
